The modest addition to the rear, through modest in size has been carefully considered to ensure both natural light and privacy to a growing family. The large sliding doors at the rear blur the threshold between inside and out, whilst high clerestory windows make the most of the north-facing aspect, ensuring both light and passive heating. In doing so, we were able to ensure privacy from the surrounding properties and minimise its impact on sunlight access planes.
